• To receive unsterile instruments & Surgical sets

• To disinfect and wash receive unsterile instruments & Surgical sets

• To assist CSSD Technician for packaging/ Labeling of instruments / surgical sets for sterilization.

• To assist the CSSD Technician for operating the autoclave machine for sterilization

• To assist the CSSD Technician for loading and unloading of the sterile items.

• To issue all sterile items to end users.

• Maintain record of all the items received and issued.

• Maintenance of equipments and instruments

• To keep inventory Checks and report CSSD Technician

• To maintain cleanliness in the department

• Requests instruments and repairs to insure routine instrument trays are maintained at all times
