Overview- A CSSD (Central Sterile Supply Department) technician's primary responsibility is to ensure the proper cleaning, processing, and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment. They are also responsible for storing and distributing these sterile items to various hospital departments. This crucial role involves meticulous attention to detail, adherence to strict protocols, and a commitment to patient safety.

Key Responsibilities of a CSSD Technician:

Sterilization and Decontamination:

Clean and sterilize medical instruments, surgical trays, dressings, and other supplies using various methods like autoclaving and other sterilization processes.

Equipment Maintenance:

Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, ensuring it functions correctly and is in compliance with safety regulations.

Instrument Inspection:

Inspect instruments for damage, cleanliness, and proper function.

Inventory Management:

EXPERIENCE: FRESHERS/ EXPERIENCE
