Costing Job Description
The Company is looking to bring on board a seasoned finance professional, with a knack for commercials and business analytics. There needs to be a result oriented approach. Following are the key responsibility areas required from this role. The role is in the capacity of a functional lead for the process development team for the organization of a medical device. The person needs to have a proven experience of working with plastic and associated machining process - extrusion, injection. Productivity improvement, driving cost saving initiatives and also participate in vendor evaluation and development. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that the system reflects the correct costing and Inventory position of the organisation
Experience Minimum 8 yrs.

Responsibilities
Product Cost analysis & Reporting. FP&A Analyst
Product Costing. Responsible for region wise Revenue vs COGS reporting for the group company.
Material Ledger Run. Extract and populate inventory and costing related reports from system at month end and prepare reconciliation statements for all the Balance sheet accounts related to Inventory (Ledger to sub-ledger reconciliations).
Standard Cost estimates for existing and new materials.
Ageing of inventory and identifying the non-moving items and gather the information for the same from the respective plant/locations. Inventory reporting for all the plants and sales locations
Review the purchase price of material on a monthly basis and highlight major variations. Review of Resource costs including outside processing of material and highlight major variations
Review the conversion cost as a whole (Plant overheads, cost of labour, outside processing, etc) and incorporate the same in the MIS.
Required to prepare daily & weekly reports for day to day control of manufacturing flow.
Preparation of gross margin statement for all the product lines for the month and periods with details
