Cost & Accounting Specialist

Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify areas of improvement, cost reduction opportunities, and operational efficiencies.

Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Analyze budget vs. actual performance, investigate variances, and provide actionable recommendations to management for cost control.

Maintain and enhance costing systems to accurately allocate costs to products, projects, or services, and assist in pricing decisions.

Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support decision-making processes.

Manage inventory accounting, including valuation, reserves, and reconciliation, to optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and regulatory requirements, and stay updated on changes affecting the industry.

Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.

Allocate overhead costs accurately and establish cost drivers for various departments or products

Develop financial models to support strategic planning, investment analysis, and scenario analysis.

Identify financial risks and recommend risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's financial stability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and sales, to drive cost-efficient initiatives and enhance financial performance.
