Key Responsibilities:
• Discussing the client's core message and target audience. Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands.
• Understanding the message the client is seeking to express and translating this into written content
• Brainstorming visual and copy ideas with other members of the creative team
• Writing and presenting a few options to clients/agency; original content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials., keeping in mind that the copy should be used to engage the reader
• Persuasion: Write persuasively and in some cases, defend their creative choices.
• Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, discussion with client
• Adhering to the tone-of-voice requested by the client
• Working with the art director (based in Dubai) to devise creative strategies
Skill Set:
• Excellent Language Proficiency and be highly creative and imaginative
• Team player with good written and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure, without compromising on work quality
• Have an eye for detail
• Have an interest in new advertising trends and techniques.
• Be skilled in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy
• Understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets
• Significant experience in writing strong, succinct copy that is grammatically correct
• Stay updated on style guidelines & brand voice for consistency in messaging
Additional Skills:
• Social media or content marketing experience a plus
• Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides a plus
• Experience working with content management systems, WordPress, etc.
