Job Description

Under the guidelines of superior carry out the daily mis-en place, is responsible for preparing the daily orders in the kitchen & carries out the day to day functions in the kitchen

 To abide by the Mission statement.

 To abide by the values and rules of the hotel.

 Ensure proper and clean attire & uniforms.

 Check all norms laid down by the department for personal hygiene.

 Ensure mis-en–place has been done before the next shift has comes in.

 To take decisions on certain work operations in the absence of his Senior.

 Ensure cleanliness of the work area and storage places.

 Co-ordinate with co-workers to facilitate smooth workflow of kitchen operations.

 Preparing daily guest orders and other functions as required by the various kitchens
