Responsibilities

Content Review & Quality Assurance

Edit, proofread, and refine content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand tone and style guidelines.

Check for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and factual accuracy.

Ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices and digital standards.

Content Strategy & Collaboration

Collaborate with writers, designers, and marketers to ensure cohesive content delivery across platforms.

Provide constructive feedback to writers and guide them in improving their craft.

Oversee content calendars and manage deadlines to maintain a steady flow of content.

Content Development & Innovation

Identify opportunities to improve existing content and repurpose materials for maximum impact.

Assist in developing engaging headlines, titles, and descriptions to enhance content appeal.

Ensure all content meets the companys branding and legal compliance standards.

Performance Monitoring

Analyze content performance metrics and recommend adjustments for better engagement and reach.

Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and techniques to enhance content quality.

Qualifications

Masters degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English Literature, or a related field.

Proven experience in content editing, with a portfolio showcasing edited work.

Excellent command of English (or the relevant language) with strong editing and proofreading skills.

Knowledge of SEO principles and content marketing strategies.

Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), like WordPress.

Skills

Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards under tight deadlines.
