JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking to hire a dedicated Writer to conceptualize, research, write, and edit including manuscripts, articles, or other written content types. They work across various genres, including nonfiction. They are sometimes called upon to help collaborate with teams in-house, including marketing or fundraising.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the type of content and writing style matches the target audience.
- Lead the quality checking process for the project's technical specifications.
- Composing and delivering academic articles, research papers, reviews, and guides.
- Collaborate with multiple teams including marketing, sales, design, and HR.
- Research, write, self-edit, and post relevant items throughout the week.
- Ensure that all content aligns with the firm's brand positioning and editorial standards.
- Make sure that all relevant reviews and approvals have been made by going through every content, from conception to implementation.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Extensive experience in writing technical and non-technical academic papers and articles.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Can provide drafts and mock-ups with an eye on editing and strengthening copy and works.
- Commendable knowledge of various online search engines and libraries.
