Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our team of specialists. The ideal candidate will provide clinical services to patients, perform surgeries, and contribute to the development of innovative treatment protocols. This is an excellent opportunity for an ophthalmologist looking to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive eye examinations and provide diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of ophthalmic conditions.

Conduct surgical procedures, including cataract, glaucoma, LASIK, retina surgeries, etc.

Prescribe corrective lenses and other treatments as required.

Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals, including optometrists, nurses, and other specialists.

Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols.

Participate in continuous medical education and training programs.

Offer expert opinions and second opinions on complex cases.

Provide post-operative care and manage patient follow-ups.

Qualifications & Experience:

Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in Ophthalmology.

Valid registration with the State Medical Council/MCI.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Consultant Ophthalmologist, with proficiency in diagnostic and surgical techniques.

Specialization in areas such as Cataract, Glaucoma, Cornea, Retina, or LASIK (Cataract surgery mandatory).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
