Key Responsibilities:
Assemble desktop and mini computer systems according to specifications, including installation of hardware components such as motherboards, CPUs, memory, storage devices, and power supplies.
Conduct thorough testing of assembled systems to ensure they meet quality standards and function as intended. This includes running diagnostic software and performing performance assessments.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues. Provide effective solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability of computer systems.
Maintain high-quality standards throughout the assembly process, ensuring that all products meet company and industry specifications.
Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, testing outcomes, and any issues encountered during assembly. Document solutions and share knowledge with team members.
Assist in managing inventory of computer parts and supplies, ensuring that all necessary components are available for assembly.
Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality assurance personnel, to optimize assembly processes and improve product quality.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance skills and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in computer technology or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience in computer assembly, repair, or IT support preferred.
Strong understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems.
Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
