Key Responsibilities

CNC Machine Operation

Operate, set up, and monitor CNC turning machines to perform machining tasks according to production requirements.

Input or adjust CNC programs as needed to meet specifications.

Select and set appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for optimal machining performance.

Technical Proficiency

Read and interpret technical drawings, engineering blueprints, and CNC programs.

Ensure proper alignment and clamping of workpieces to avoid errors.

Make minor edits to programs for improving efficiency or quality.

Quality Control

Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and dial gauges.

Identify and rectify any deviations from specifications.

Maintain consistent quality standards by conducting routine checks and audits.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Perform daily machine checks and basic preventive maintenance tasks.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions to avoid downtime.

Report complex technical issues to supervisors or maintenance teams.

Compliance and Safety

Follow workplace safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
