Key Responsibilities:
Operate and manage CNC turning center to produce precision parts according to blueprints and technical specifications.
Set up machines, including tool selection, fixture setup, and workholding, to ensure efficient and accurate machining operations.
Interpret G-code and M-code programming for minor adjustments and troubleshooting machine errors.
Inspect and measure finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to ensure adherence to quality and dimensional tolerances.
Perform routine maintenance and machine calibration to maintain operational efficiency.
Monitor tool wear and replace cutting tools as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.
Troubleshoot machine alarms, dimensional issues, and tool path errors to minimize downtime.
Follow safety procedures and quality standards, ensuring a safe working environment and high-quality output.
