Job Description:

I. Machine Setup and Operation:

• Prepare and set up CNC vertical machining centers based on job requirements.

• Load program files and set machine parameters according to part specifications.

• Install and secure appropriate cutting tools, collets, and fixtures.

• Verify machine settings and make adjustments as needed.

• Safely operate CNC machines, monitor the machining process, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

• Maintain optimal machine performance by conducting routine maintenance and cleaning.

II. Quality Control and Inspection:

• Perform in-process inspections to ensure the dimensional accuracy of machined parts.

• Use precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify part dimensions.

• Make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.

• Identify and address any non-conforming parts or deviations from specifications.

III. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including setup sheets, inspection reports, and machine maintenance logs.

• Document any issues, deviations, or process improvements encountered during machining operations.

• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
