Job Description for Civil Field Engineer

We, at Innov Next are seeking a motivated and skilled Field Engineer with a Diploma in Civil Engineering to join our team. As a Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in carrying out field activities, conducting Geo-technical surveys and material inspections, supervising civil and painting works, managing material logistics, and providing demonstrations. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the successful completion of construction projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

1. Field activities: Perform on-site inspections, surveys, and assessments to collect data, evaluate site conditions, and identify potential challenges for construction projects.

2. Geo-technical surveys: Conduct Geo-technical investigations, including soil sampling, testing, and analysis to assess soil properties and stability for foundation design.

3. Material inspections: Inspect construction materials, such as concrete, steel, asphalt, and aggregates, to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

4. Supervision of civil and painting works: Oversee the execution of civil works, including site preparation, earthworks, foundation construction, structural installations, and painting activities.

5. Material logistics management: Coordinate the procurement, transportation, and distribution of construction materials, ensuring timely availability at the worksite.

6. Demonstrations: Provide demonstrations to project team members, subcontractors, and workers on proper construction techniques, material handling, equipment usage, and safety procedures.

7. Quality control: Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with construction standards, specifications, and safety regulations. Address any deviations or issues promptly.

8. Collaboration with stakeholders: Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication,
