Job Description

Create detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software based on project

specifications. Generate plans, elevations, sections, and other drawings required for construction

projects. Incorporate technical details, dimensions, and materials into drawings.

 Work closely with other professionals to understand project requirements. Incorporate feedback

and revisions into drawings as necessary. Ensure drawings align with local building codes and

regulations.

 Maintain a comprehensive record of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation. Prepare

and update as-built drawings to reflect changes made during construction.

 Verify the accuracy and completeness of drawings before finalizing and distributing them. Cross-

check drawings with project specifications to ensure consistency.

 Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and other stakeholders. Clarify doubts

and provide support to ensure the accurate interpretation of drawings.

 Stay updated on the latest CAD software and tools. Utilize technology to enhance the efficiency and

quality of drafting work.
