We are looking for a dependable chemistry teacher to join our faculty. The chemistry teacher’s responsibilities
include teaching students about chemical elements, compounds, and reactions, supervising investigations and
experiments, developing rapport, and maintaining good relationships with students and parents.
To be successful as a chemistry teacher, you should demonstrate sound knowledge of chemistry.
Chemistry Teacher Responsibilities:
ï‚· Understanding the curriculum and developing schedules, lesson plans and teaching methods that will
help students towards their learning outcomes.
ï‚· Preparing and delivering lessons that are very understandable, clear with respect to concept and
numericals.
ï‚· Educating students on lab safety and ensuring all experiments are carried out responsibly.
ï‚· Setting up tests, assignments, experiments, and grading students in an appropriate manner.
ï‚· Ensuring resources and doubt clarification sessions are available to students.
ï‚· Encouraging and preparing students for science related activities .
ï‚· Handling various administrative functions, which include updating student records and keeping track of
lab supplies, tools, and equipment on time.
ï‚· Ensuring a safe, healthy classroom environment where learning can take place.
Chemistry Teacher Requirements:
ï‚· Degree in chemistry or a related discipline.
ï‚· Relevant certification may be required.
ï‚· Knowledge of teaching styles recommended.
ï‚· Excellent interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
ï‚· Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations.
