Job Description

Prepare and present accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).

Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

Review financial reports for accuracy and completeness, providing insights to management.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding financial reporting and taxation.

Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies, coordinating audits and addressing any issues that arise.

Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the financial landscape.

Develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance against budgets and forecasts.

Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial analysis and projections.

Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance.

Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the organization.

Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, including cost-benefit analysis, profitability analysis, and cash flow forecasting.

Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to management.

Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, promoting professional development and continuous improvement.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.

Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.

Conduct regular reviews of financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Act as a key liaison between the finance department and other business units, ensuring alignment of financial objectives.

Communicate financial information and performance metrics to senior management and the board of directors.

Collaborate with external partners, such as banks, auditors, and tax advisors.
