JOB DESCRIPTION – CA - TAXATION

Direct and Indirect Tax:

1. Preparation and filing of accurate and timely tax returns (direct and indirect tax), tax audits for

individuals, businesses, and other entities.

2. Ensure compliance with local, state, and central tax laws and regulations.

3. Stay updated on changes in tax codes (direct and indirect tax) and update clients on relevant

amendments.

4. Routine compliances Indirect Tax and-Implementation support to existing direct tax clients

on GST issue.

5. To support clients in implementing GST reconciliation, undertake GST impact analysis, manage

compliances under GST and identify transition issues.

6. GST reconciliation alignment with Income Tax for audit

7. Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities. Provide

proactive advice on tax planning opportunities and potential risks.

8. Conduct thorough research on tax issues to provide informed recommendations. Address client

inquiries regarding tax matters and explain complex tax concepts in a clear and understandable

manner.

9. Communicate/collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals/business models and

provide personalized tax advice/tailored indirect tax advice.

10. Analyze financial statements and records to identify tax optimization opportunities.

11. Represent clients during direct/indirect tax notices. Collaborate with tax authorities to resolve

issues and disputes.

12. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of tax-related records.

Accounts – Foreign clients:

1. Basic knowledge of Accounting standards for preparation and review of accounts.

2. Sound knowledge of accounting software especially Tally.

3. Undertake independent financial audits (an independent check of an Organization's financial

position)

4. Liaising with clients.

5. Liaise with internal and external auditors (where applicable) and deal with any financial

irregularities as they arise.
