5. Maintain strong relationships with freight vendors, ensuring performance metrics and quality standards are met.
6. Ensure all logistics-related documentation, such as bills of lading, shipping manifests, and customs paperwork, are accurate and up-to-date.
7. Manage the transportation budget, track expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
8. Monitor and mitigate risks associated with the transportation of pharmaceutical goods, including damages, theft, and delays.
9. Supervise a team of logistics and warehouse personnel, ensuring smooth coordination across departments.
10. Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure that customers receive timely and accurate deliveries.
11. Continuously assess and improve transportation processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
