Overview- A cath lab technician, also known as a cardiac catheterization technologist, works in a hospital or clinic to perform tests on the heart. They assist doctors with procedures, monitor patients, and record data.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for procedures

Monitor vital signs

Perform EKG tests

Assist with treadmill stress testing

Assist with invasive cardiac catheterization

Recognize cardiac arrhythmias

Assist physicians during adverse reactions or acute emergencies

Verify lab results before procedures

Measure and administer special fluids

PROFILE: ALL HEALTHCARE/MEDICAL INDUSTRY

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS DIPLOMA

EXPERIENCE: FRESHERS/ EXPERIENCE

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Permanent

Full-time (240 days including holiday).

This is an annualized role so hours worked may vary from month to month.
