We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in carpentry, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements and dimensions for the construction of structures and fixtures.
Construct and install frameworks, structures, and built-in furniture, such as cabinets, shelves, and doors, using various woodworking tools and equipment.
Shape and cut materials to precise measurements, ensuring a proper fit and finish according to project specifications and design requirements.
Assemble and fasten materials, including wood, plastic, and metal, using nails, screws, adhesives, and other joining techniques to create sturdy and durable structures.
Install hardware, such as hinges, handles, and locks, to complete the construction of furniture and fixtures.
Repair and refurbish existing structures or fixtures, addressing any damages or issues to restore them to their original condition.
Collaborate with the construction team to ensure effective communication and seamless project execution, especially for large-scale projects or complex designs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage and handling of tools, materials, and equipment.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment, especially when using sharp tools and operating woodworking machinery.
Keep updated on the latest trends and advancements in carpentry techniques and materials to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
