Position Overview:

We are looking for talented carpenters to complete a variety of projects across the UK. The role involves measuring and preparing sites for woodwork, installing cabinetry for kitchens and bedrooms, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. You will also be responsible for interpreting designs, liaising with suppliers, sourcing materials, and occasionally working with joists and roofing. The role requires strong attention to detail, precision, and an understanding of construction principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measurements & Site Preparation: Accurately measure and prepare sites for woodwork.

• Cabinetry & Installation: Prepare cabinetry for kitchens and bedrooms, including the installation of handles, locks, and hinges.

• Quality Assurance: Inspect materials for defects and ensure high-quality craftsmanship.

• Design Interpretation: Read and interpret designs to meet specified requirements.

• Supplier Liaison: Coordinate with suppliers to source materials and ensure timely deliveries.

• Remodelling Projects: Support remodeling projects, particularly in kitchens and bedrooms.

• Timber Sourcing: Source timber according to required sizes and budget.

• Structural Support: Work with joists and roofing when installing wardrobes and kitchens.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar role within the construction or property management industry.

• Proficiency in using a variety of power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders, as well as essential hand tools.

• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and joinery methods, focusing on quality and durability.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements.

• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing.
