Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with suspected cardiovascular conditions.
• Interpret and analyze test results, such as ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and other diagnostic tools.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle changes, and surgical interventions if necessary.
• Perform and assist in various cardiological procedures, including angioplasty, pacemaker insertions, and heart catheterizations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, surgeons, and nurses, to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on managing heart conditions and preventing cardiovascular diseases.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in cardiology and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
• Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
Qualifications:
• MBBS degree with a specialization in Cardiology (MD, DM, or equivalent).
• Valid medical license to practice in Tamil Nadu.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Cardiologist, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Proficiency in cardiology procedures and the use of diagnostic tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
