Job Title: Car Mechanic

Reports to: Shop Supervisor/Manager

Job Summary:

We seek skilled Car Mechanics to diagnose and repair vehicles, ensuring timely and quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.

2. Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations).

3. Conduct vehicle inspections and recommend repairs.

4. Use specialized tools and equipment (., scan tools, air compressors).

5. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.

6. Collaborate with colleagues to meet shop goals.

7. Follow safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

1. 2+ years of experience as a car mechanic.

2. High school diploma or equivalent.

3. Technical training in automotive repair (., ASE, NASTF).

4. Valid certifications (., ASE G1-G8, Master Technician).

5. Physical ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

6. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with advanced diagnostic tools.

2. Familiarity with manufacturer-specific systems.

3. Supervisory or leadership experience.

4. Certification in specialized areas (., diesel, hybrid).
