Job Description

Design and development: Design and develop products and components for manufacturing

Program machining: Use CAM software to program the machining of parts

Read and interpret drawings: Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and specifications

Understand GD&T: Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T) to the programming process

Import customer data: Import customer data into CAM systems

Perform design rule checks: Check data to ensure it complies with manufacturing guidelines

Create programs: Create array configurations, route, and test programs

Work with process engineers: Work with process engineers to evaluate and provide strategies for advanced processing

Communicate with customers: Communicate with customers about design issues

Provide technical support: Provide technical support to customers for resolving technical issues
