Job Description

Computer-aided design (CAD) drafters convert the designs created by engineers and architects into technical drawings. Each drawing must contain precise details specifying dimensions, codes, materials, and production methods.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed shop drawings for Pre-Engineered Buildings based on architectural and structural drawings provided by the client.

- Utilize industry-standard software (such as AutoCAD, or similar) to create precise and accurate drawings.

- Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and building codes.

- Review and interpret design drawings to identify potential issues and offer solutions for efficient construction.

- Coordinate with project managers, fabricators, and erection teams to ensure seamless project execution.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to enhance detailing processes and techniques.

- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address queries and provide project updates.

Salary:

The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
