Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop detailed CAD drawings and models of parts and components based on provided samples and specifications.
2. Utilize AutoCAD to create accurate 2D and 3D drawings, ensuring adherence to design standards and specifications.
3. Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure the functionality, manufacturability, and quality of designed components.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and production staff, to refine designs and resolve design-related issues.
5. Proficiently use Siemens NXCAD for part modelling, assembly, mold design, drafting, and CAD/CAM programming as needed.
6. Conduct design reviews to ensure designs meet performance requirements, manufacturing capabilities, and cost targets.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and production teams during the fabrication and assembly process.
8. Maintain accurate documentation and records of design iterations, revisions, and specifications.
9. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in CAD design, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Siemens NXCAD.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Experience in CAD/CAM programming is a plus.
