We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Lead to join our team, specializing in UK IT recruitment. As a Business Development Lead, your primary responsibility will be to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the IT sector.
Responsibilities:
Identify and research potential clients in the IT industry, including technology companies and enterprises.
Build a strong network of contacts and actively engage with key decision-makers.
Proactively generate leads through various channels, such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and referrals.
Develop and execute effective strategies to win new business and achieve revenue targets.
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
Understand client requirements, challenges, and hiring needs in the IT sector.
Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and identify opportunities for growth.
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that align with client needs.
Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients, aiming to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, agreements, and sales activities.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and developments in the IT industry.
Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics, providing insights to the management team.
Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue projections.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree.
Proven experience as a Business Development Executive / Lead or a similar role in the IT recruitment industry.
Strong understanding of the IT industry, including software development, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data analytics, and emerging technologies.
Excellent communication, negotiation.
