Ebaco is looking for a project sales person who can sell premium products/services in the construction industry focused on sports infrastructure for the Pune market. This person would be responsible for business development in the Pune market. Critical activities in this job would be:
Ability to develop strong relationship networks in premium customers which includes Contractors, Developers/Builders, Architects, Institutions (Schools, Colleges, Universities), Corporates, Sports Academies and government departments
Using salesforce or any CRM tool to analyse the data that allows you to improve your sales performance.
Experience in doing project sales which means:
Knows how to identify key decision makers and influencers and nudge them in the direction of working with Ebaco;
Knowing how to negotiate where multiple people are involved in order finalization
Understanding how to specify products with architects
Strong at dealing with price and other objections that would come up
Experienced in knowing how to collect payments from customers
Strong convincing skills
Ability to understand technical features/benefits of products/services that one is selling.
Developing effective sales strategy for each potential enquiry
Experience in selling more premium products and not just a focus on price
Personality traits:
Confident personality but has the humility to learn
Positive and good at getting people to like that person
Hungry, energetic and driven
Shrewd but honest-knows how to manoeuvre around barriers that are put up by customers/competitors etc, but plays the sales game in a professional manner and beats competition by being a better salesperson not by cheating
