As a business Development Manager in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry, your role will involve managing business-to-business (B2B) relationships with key clients who are

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key B2B clients in the FMCG industry. Understand their business needs, market dynamics, and challenges to provide tailored solutions and ensure client satisfaction.

Account Development: Identify opportunities to grow business with existing key accounts. Develop strategies to increase sales volume, market share, and profitability. Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and supply chain, to implement effective account plans.

Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to maximise revenue and profitability. Manage contracts, ensuring compliance and timely renewals. Resolve any contractual disputes or issues that may arise.

Sales and Forecasting: Achieve sales targets by analyzing market trends, consumer demand, and competitor activities. Develop sales forecasts, monitor performance, and take corrective actions to meet or exceed targets.

Category Management: Collaborate with clients to optimize product assortment, shelf space, and promotions. Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis and consumer behavior to drive category growth and increase market share.

Trade Marketing: Develop and execute trade marketing strategies in collaboration with clients and internal marketing teams. Plan and implement promotional activities, trade shows, and merchandising initiatives to drive brand visibility and boost sales.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as marketing, supply chain, finance, and product development, to ensure smooth operations and alignment with client requirements. Provide input on product launches, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
