Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitor activities. Develop strategies to expand the company's customer base.
Lead Generation: Identify, qualify, and generate new leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, email campaigns, and industry events.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs, offering solutions, and providing ongoing support.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth targets and revenue objectives.
Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients. Negotiate contracts and close business deals.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure that client feedback and market demands are reflected in the companys offerings.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the company's CRM system.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends to senior management.
Networking & Partnerships: Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to build a strong professional network and explore partnership opportunities.
Client Retention & Upselling: Focus on both new client acquisition and client retention by identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products/services.
Continuous Learning: Stay up to date on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in business development.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience (3-5 years) in business development, sales, or a related role, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
