Job Description:

The Liaison Officer will act as the link between the Government/ Public Department groups and the internal Marketing team.

It is fundamental to this role that the candidate has a thorough understanding and experience of the role and the intricacies of BD planning. The BD plans that currently exist will need constant development, updating/ role will require regular meetings with each Public Sector/Government department/sector where there is a BD such he/she should be aware of all the actions needed for each of the plans and will be responsible for executing or delegating the BD/marketing r to departmental meetings he/she will review the plan, gather relevant data, review minutes from previous meetings and be able to report of is a pro-active role, not one where he/she is always in receive mode. As such it will require imaginative suggestions as to where can we gather more business from and how best to achieve the defined joint responsibility, with each department/sector, for managing the marketing in-depth understanding of each BD Plan will lead to a need to be competent and authoritative in all aspects of marketing support services, such as the roles and benefits of

Required Skills :

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have at least 10 years experience in Business Development out of which a minimum of 3 years should be in Government Departments.
