The role of a Business Development Executive is to assist the organization sales and growth efforts by contributing to new customer acquisition. He/she should be able to provide ideas to attract new clients and keep the senior management updated about marketplace and competitor activity. The primary role and responsibilities of a Business Development Executive include:
Proven work experience in business development or software sales & familiar with Target Based sales.
Hands on daily sales execution, including marketing requirements.
Build and maintain customer relationships, identification of business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals.
The role requires significant interaction with clients / prospects via remote collaboration tools or face to face as needed.
Maintaining sales pipeline, including finding sales leads opportunities both from within and outside
Delivering proposals and presentations to prospects, and negotiating and closing business deals
Providing updates on sales leads to Senior Management
Commercial awareness of mobile and digital products, and Cloud SAAS
Must be willing to travel to assigned locations in India and Abroad.
Keep prospective client database updated
Make cold calls for new business leads
Support in writing new business proposals
Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company.
