Key Responsibilities (Primary duties and tasks of the position)
BDE is responsible to drive new business; achieving sales target; ensure all sales and fulfillment process are executed as per agreed time frame; implement sales plan to pan India
Sales Forecasting and Planning
- Responsible for pan India forecasting and sales tracking
- Increasing market share by developing new customers
- Set sales target himself and reporting based on respective vertical & market
- Taking initiates like promotions, offers and discounts to achieve sales projections
- Ensuring minimum return from stores
Service Orientation
- Following up with prospects for closure of sales
- Providing after sales support to the customer
- Monitoring and validating costs and ensuring they are within budget limits for the region
- Visit retail outlets regularly to monitor implementation of sales and promotional initiatives
- Maintaining and building relationships with customers and prospects
- Engaging in ethical behavior at all times
MIS and Reporting:
- Monitoring sales and related data and drawing inferences to propose future course of action
- Weekly sales report from sales executives reporting to be collated and submitted t operations manager.
- Maintain documentation such as contracts, agreements, with customers
- Provide timely feedback regarding performance of the dealers and distributors to the concern authority
- Preparing and sending collection report
