The role of a Business Development Executive is to assist the organisation sales and growth efforts
by contributing to new customer acquisition. He/she should be able to provide ideas to attract new
clients and keep the senior management updated about marketplace and competitor activity. The
primary role and responsibilities of a Business Development Executive include:
• Proven work experience in business development or software sales & familiar with Target
Based sales.
• Hands on daily sales execution, including marketing requirements.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, identification of business opportunities,
negotiating and closing business deals.
• The role requires significant interaction with clients / prospects via remote collaboration tools
or face to face as needed.
• Maintaining sales pipeline, including finding sales leads opportunities both from within and
outside
• Delivering proposals and presentations to prospects, and negotiating and closing business
deals
• Providing updates on sales leads to Senior Management
• Commercial awareness of mobile and digital products, and Cloud SAAS
• Must be willing to travel to assigned locations in India and Abroad.
• Keep prospective client database updated
• Make cold calls for new business leads
• Support in writing new business proposals
• Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company.
