Numinous Ventures Inc. is a Toronto based Software Development & IT consultancy. We are mainly looking to expand in the USA & Canadian markets to provide IT & Non-IT recruiting needs. We are an early stage startup looking for our first Business Development Specialist (100% remote) to help us build client relationships in the IT Sourcing & Recruiting domain.
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic team-player to help us build & expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. We are small enough that you can make an impact within the company as the very first employee on the business development side. This is a perfect opportunity for someone highly motivated who would like to join the ambitious startup at a very early stage.
You should be comfortable working in a small startup with lots of ambiguity and agile/flexible processes. You would be expected to contribute wherever you can to help in the company's growth. This will in-turn be super rewarding for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities:
Contact potential clients using various methods such as cold calling, emails, networking & social media and lead clients meetings
Develop strong relationships with potential new accounts and maintain a pipeline of new leads/prospects
Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients
Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities
Partner with leadership to create and implement business strategies for attracting and signing new clients
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Identify, contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities
Identify industry technology & business trends, customer needs so as to build short term to long term opportunities/pipeline
Create and share best practices
