Reporting to the Regional Team Leaders – North, West and South with matrix reporting to the PIU leads of the specific cities, the BDE-CFFs shall be responsible for engaging with and raising funds from city-centric donors including small corporates, HNIs and other donors, for various local development projects, encompassing Multi-Activity Centers, and School Education, WASH, Skill-Building and Protection initiatives. S/he shall be required to meet fundraising targets and interact closely with quality donors.
In this public-facing role, the post-holders, shall be expected to uphold the highest standards of integrity and conduct, consistent with BRB values.
Key Job Responsibilities:
(1) Achieve quarterly targets in line with annual goals;
(2) Work closely with the programme team to understand the project and cost–impact model;
(3) Organize donor visits, meetings and events to help the programme team showcasing BRB’s work;
(4) Develop a database of local corporates/ HNIs/ other donors and a comprehensive plan for approaching them on a regular basis;
(5) Raise awareness of BRB's work with children across the country and advocacy work around India;
(6) Maintain the highest possible standards of integrity, consistent with BRB values.
(7) Maintain the required levels of confidentiality on information relating to BRB and its supporters;
(8) Any other task assigned by the Line Manager from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualification:
Applicants should be graduates from reputed institutions.
Experience: (1) Minimum one year of experience in fundraising;
(2) Prior exposure to working with development organisations shall be an added advantage.
