Job Description

A Business Development Executive (BDE) in field sales is a sales professional who helps a company grow by identifying and developing new business opportunities. Their responsibilities include:

Identifying opportunities: Researching businesses, individuals, and industry trends to find potential new clients and markets

Attracting clients: Contacting potential clients through phone, email, and in-person meetings

Building relationships: Maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing rapport with key decision makers

Creating sales strategies: Developing and implementing new sales strategies, and setting sales goals

Managing sales: Overseeing the sales process, managing virtual and in-person sales meetings, and ensuring excellent customer service

Presenting proposals: Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients

Reporting: Tracking and analyzing sales data, and presenting monthly and quarterly sales reports

Managing risks: Working with senior team members to identify and manage company risks

Training: Hiring, onboarding, and training new team members

Networking: Representing the company at industry events, meetings, and conferences
