Position Summary
The Business Development officer is responsible for driving business growth and expanding our client base. Your primary focus will be on generating revenue, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with prospective clients in the media industry.
Key Position Accountabilities:
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Research and identify potential lop strategies to target and approach them effectively.
2. Build and maintain client relationships: Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers within target organizations. Understand
their needs, challenges, and objectives to position the agency's services effectively.
3. Sales and revenue generation: Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively promoting the agency's offerings and closing deals. Develop and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
4. Market analysis and competitor research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors. Analyze and interpret market data to identify potential areas for growth and develop strategies to stay ahead.
5. Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with account management, creative, and production teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction. Coordinate efforts to meet client expectations and deliver successful campaigns.
6. Networking and industry events: Attend relevant industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness, establish industry contacts, and generate leads.
7. Contract negotiation and deal closure: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and scope of services with clients. Close deals and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
8. Sales reporting and forecasting: Maintain accurate sales records, track progress, and prepare regular reports for management. Provide sales forecasts based on market trends.
