Job Summary:
The Business Development Associate is responsible for identifying potential clients, building relationships, and supporting the sales team in various aspects of the sales process. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual with excellent communication and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation activities.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Sales Support: Assist the sales team with preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
Follow-up: Follow up on leads and opportunities to move them through the sales pipeline.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of business development activities, leads, and client interactions in CRM systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and other teams to align business development strategies with overall company goals.
Event Participation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote products and services.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with CRM software (., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
