Building relationships: BDAs work to build and maintain relationships with clients, executives, and managers. They do this by engaging with clients to understand their needs and expectations.

Market research: BDAs conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.

Developing plans: BDAs develop business plans and agendas to increase growth and profits.

Communication: BDAs need to have excellent written and oral communication skills. They use these skills to build relationships and offer the company's products.

Project management: BDAs need to be able to lead a team and manage risk.

Attention to detail: BDAs need to pay close attention to detail, especially when keeping records of sales activity.

Data analysis: BDAs use data analysis to detect fraud and prevent it from happening.
