Key Responsibilities:
Branch Operations and Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring all activities align with company policies and objectives.
Lead and manage a team of operations, logistics, and documentation staff.
Monitor performance metrics, productivity, and customer satisfaction levels.
Ensure cost-effective use of resources and control branch budgets.
Customs Compliance and Clearance:
Serve as the official point of contact for customs authorities.
Oversee and execute customs clearance processes for import/export shipments.
Ensure all documentation complies with customs regulations, tariffs, and trade laws.
Resolve any customs-related issues or delays in a timely manner.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and customs procedures.
Client and Vendor Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, port authorities, and logistics providers.
Provide expert guidance to clients on customs requirements and documentation.
Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of client concerns.
Leadership and Team Development:
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to maintain high levels of expertise and efficiency.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and compliance awareness.
Required Qualifications:
Valid Customs G Card holder (mandatory).
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field(preferred).
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Customs Clearance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, HS codes, import/export documentation,and clearance procedures.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems.
Familiarity with port operations and international shipping practices.
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
