Job Description

1. Customer Interaction

Make outbound or receive inbound calls to/from customers in Tamil.

Answer customer queries, resolve complaints, and provide information about products or services.

Handle calls professionally and ensure customer satisfaction.

2. Sales and Promotion

Promote products or services to potential customers over the phone.

Explain the features and benefits of the offerings in a clear and persuasive manner.

Convert inquiries into sales by building trust and understanding customer needs.

3. Lead Generation and Follow-Up

Generate leads through cold calling or follow-up on existing leads.

Maintain and update customer databases with accurate and up-to-date information.

Follow up with customers to ensure retention and satisfaction.

4. Problem Solving

Identify customer concerns and provide solutions effectively.

Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department for further assistance.

5. Record Keeping and Reporting

Maintain call logs and update records of customer interactions.

Prepare daily/weekly reports on call performance, leads, and sales achievements.

6. Language Proficiency

Communicate fluently in Tamil to cater to Tamil-speaking customers.

If required, use basic English or other languages to assist non-Tamil-speaking customers.

7. Adhering to Guidelines

Follow company scripts, policies, and procedures during customer interactions.

Comply with confidentiality and data protection regulations.

8. Upselling and Cross-Selling

Identify opportunities to recommend additional products or services.

Build rapport with customers to increase sales opportunities.

9. Handling Complaints

Address and resolve customer grievances with patience and empathy.

Maintain a calm and polite demeanor during challenging interactions.

10. Training and Self-Improvement

Attend training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and telecalling techniques.

Continuously improve communication and persuasion skills.
