Responsibilities:

As a Block Mason, you will be responsible for:

Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans to understand block layout and design specifications.

Measuring, cutting, and shaping concrete blocks or bricks to precise dimensions using appropriate tools.

Laying and aligning blocks in accordance with established patterns and designs, ensuring structural integrity.

Mixing and applying mortar to adhere blocks together, while ensuring proper spacing and alignment.

Collaborating closely with other masons, construction professionals, and supervisors to maintain project timelines.

Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure and safe working environment.

Inspecting completed work for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments or repairs.

Maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained.

Contributing to the efficient utilization of materials to minimize wastage and enhance project cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

Proven experience as a Block Mason in construction projects, preferably with experience in Dubai or the Gulf region.

Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and plans related to block layout.

Strong skills in measuring, cutting, and shaping concrete blocks or bricks accurately.

Knowledge of mortar mixing and application techniques for reliable block adhesion.

Ability to work effectively in physically demanding conditions, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.

Attention to detail to ensure precise block alignment, spacing, and structural integrity.
