In this exciting role you will support prototyping of technologies to progress from proof of concept and/or feasibility. This position will be part of the CGM Sensor R&D organization focusing on development efforts of glucose sensing technologies.
A Day in the Life
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the development of next generation biosensors with emphasis on glucose sensing
Research and prove concept feasibility by prototyping cutting edge technologies to enable next generation of glucose sensors
Conduct characterization by design of experiments (DOE) to model the statistically significant critical to quality (CTQ) sensor performance outputs and main effects with respect to design features
Contribute to realization for new sensing modalities, membrane stacks, and processes
Conducts briefings with team members within job function
Work with fellow engineers and technicians to execute experimental designs
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Designs, develops and provides safety testing, repair, and maintenance of biomedical equipment.
Ensures that the biomedical equipment is in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and quality control standards.
Design studies and conduct research on enzyme reactions and the effects of organic compounds on biological processes.
Participate in activities such as compound screening and compound optimization programs, and developing and running enzyme assays.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related Sciences.
Years of Experience:
2+ years with Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related Sciences
Or a Graduate Level Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related Sciences
