Job Title: BI Developer

Summary of Position:

As part of the Business Analytics team, you will develop enterprise-level business intelligence solutions using the latest tools, methods, and frameworks. We seek a candidate who excels at innovation and creativity, converting data into information and information into insights to help our end users make informed business decisions. A successful candidate has strong analytical skills and technology experience working with business intelligence tools and is passionate about using data to drive decision-making.

 

Essential Functions:

• Own the design, development, and maintenance of BI dashboards and reports

• Design, implement, maintain and improve data warehousing

• Design models for the data warehouse, data marts, and data integration

• Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, and create quantitative models that tie to business results

• Create models for predictive analytics

• Write high-quality code to retrieve and analyze data

• Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new and existing tools

• Work with developers to aggregate large data sets for use within BI solutions

• Develop, design, and optimize complex SQL queries

• Participate in database analysis, design, and build effort

• Participate in product design and code reviews Competencies:

• Strong knowledge and experience using BI platforms and analytics tools (SiSense, Qlik, TIBCO Jaspersoft, Salesforce, Microsoft Power BI, Pandora, Tableau, Google Analytics, SSRS, etc.)

• Exceptional data problem solving and business communication skills

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong proficiency in relational database design and administration Education and Experience:

• Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics and Data Sciences with relevant work experience • 2+ years of working experience
