Bargain Book Hut and Bookscetra, are rapidly growing chain of 'concept' bookstores, having great quality books of all genres and for all age groups at insanely low prices.
Currently, we are having exciting opportunities for people with experience in back-end operations preferably in the retail software system who can handle and co-ordinate the centralised software POS system for our bookstores (currenty we have 8 branches across India and 2 stores at the Mumbai International Airport). The back end related issues are managed from our Head Office in Colaba, Mumbai. We are looking for a candidate who is:
Responsible for adding and syncing all products in the centralized system, purchase orders as well as transfer of stock to all stores
- Responsible for coordination with all retail stores to ensure all stock has been transferred and received by all stores and shortages and excessed handled
- Responsible for troubleshooting all software errors and coordinating with the software company to resolve the problems
- Responsible for generating centralized sales reports for all stores as per the requirment of the management
- Coordination with all shops on a daily basis to ensure smooth software operation and to minimize discrepancy of all stores by identifying any inventory related errors
- Will require to learn and have a thorough knowledge of operations of the entire centralized solution
- Good knowledge of excel is a must (would require to know v-lookup + pivot tables)
Required Candidate profile
Self motivated and organised individual who wants to be part of our rapidly growing bookstore chain back end team.
Is responsible for taking care of the POS back end system related issues involved with the day to day running of the retail stores.
Have good communication skills and should co-ordinate / follow-up with Software company so that the systems run smoothly in all shops.
Should have basic computer skills and knowledge of Word, Email, etc.
