Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Back Office Assistant to support the smooth functioning of our operations in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will handle administrative tasks, ensure the accuracy of documentation, and provide backend support to the sales and customer service teams in the general insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
Handle and maintain customer records, policy documents, and related data in an organized manner.
Process insurance applications, renewals, and cancellations as per company guidelines.
Manage and update databases with accurate client and policy information.
Policy Management
Verify and validate policy details and documentation to ensure compliance with company standards.
Assist in claim processing, including documentation collection and preliminary assessments.
Communicate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or gather additional information.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operational activities and policy updates.
Analyze operational data to identify trends and support decision-making.
Coordination & Support
Provide backend support to the sales and customer service teams.
Liaise with underwriters, claims departments, and other internal stakeholders for operational efficiency.
Address and resolve backend operational issues promptly.
Compliance & Confidentiality
Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements in all backend processes.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive customer and company information.
Key Qualifications & Skills
Education: Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in the general insurance or financia
