AUTOMATION TESTER

STATUS: Full-Time

REPORTS TO: Manager

LOCATION: Sion, Mumbai

POSITION SUMMARY:

Generating Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Selenium Element locators and WebDriver API Commands. Enhancing Test cases using Java Programming. Debugging Test Cases and Fixing Errors.

Participate in the test automation tool selection process

Develop and execute automated test suites using COTS and custom tools;

Integrate test suites into the test management system and custom test harnesses; and, Perform other testing-related duties as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PRIORITIES:

Analyzing the requirements from the client (direct interaction with clients)

Preparing Test Plans and getting approval

Preparation of Test cases for the module, integration, and system testing.

Participate in different levels of testing (UI, Functionality, Performance)

Should be able to coordinate with developers towards resolving issues

Configuring Selenium Test Environment (STE) in order to set it up

Participating in Selenium Environment Setup with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE)

Automating the design of a framework implementing it as per the structure of the project

Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases

Collating and monitoring the defect management process

Managing the changes and executing regression test
