JOB TITLE: Mechanical Engineering Draftsman

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong educational background in mechanical engineering or ITI in Draftsmanship, along with substantial experience in utilizing software such as AutoCAD, Crew, and Solid Works to create accurate and precise technical drawings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints based on engineering specifications and designs.

• Collaborate closely with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate drawings.

• Utilize AutoCAD, Creo, and SolidWorks software to produce 2D and 3D drawings.

• Ensure that drawings adhere to industry standards, company guidelines, and quality assurance protocols.

• Review and revise drawings as necessary, considering feedback from engineers

• Maintain an organized library of drawings, documents, and project files.

• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and presentations.

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting enhancements to drawing processes and tools.

• Stay up-to-date with advancements in drafting software and industry trends.

• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Educational background in Mechanical Engineering or ITI in Draftsmanship.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo, and SolidWorks software for drafting and design.

• Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

• Proven experience in creating accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings.

• Attention to detail and ability to produce precise and error-free drawings.

• Good communication skills to interact with engineers, project managers, and other team members.

• Problem-solving abilities to address design and drafting challenges.
